Cesarine's mission is to protect and promote the tradition of Italian home cooking in Italy and worldwide.
We bring together the oldest and most extensive network of amateur Italian cooks (our Cesarine!) and guests from around the world, through cooking classes, dining, and food tour experiences.
Since 2019 Cesarine has been recognized as Slow Food's widespread community for its commitment to safeguarding traditional Italian cuisine.
About the role
The Community Team works closely with our Cesarine network, intending to grow and assure the community’s well-being. We’re looking for an enthusiastic community manager to join our team, working with our Head of Community on our mission to protect Italy’s traditional cuisine.

What you will do
Review, optimize, and onboard new host applications
Uncover the most exciting culinary talents by using scouting sites and social media
Write copy for food experiences, online & offline meet-up presentations
Support the current host community by providing educational resources for success
Assist users when they run into technical problems
Attend new and older experiences monthly
Connect with Cesarine online and offline
Keep high the engagement within our Cesarine through our private Facebook group
Occasional travel across Italy to meet and onboard candidates/community members in key cities
Participate and support our Cesarine during company events
You’ll work with a community of enthusiastic food lovers
Enjoy flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely twice a week
Whole-company gatherings in beautiful locations - this year we went skiing in Merano!

You’ll be successful in this role if you
Have at least 1-year experience managing online & offline communities
Have previous experience in the events/hospitality/travel industry
Are outgoing and enjoy interacting with people
Passion/interest/experience in food/beverages
Are Fluent in Italian and English
Have excellent communication skills - Both verbal and written
Are digitally savvy and know how to leverage digital tools
Are self-motivated and extremely organized with high attention to detail
Are naturally curious, eager to learn, and a team player
Are well-connected in the Italian food & wine community - that’s a plus
